I have finally made it back home to Winnipeg after the long, exhuasting, and utterly rewarding Prairie Theatre Exchange Munsch tour across Manitoba. I’m happy to be home and preparing for my next performance adventure: Mozart Requiem with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
“The WSO is thrilled to welcome over 350 Manitoban youth to perform as part of this year’s concert on April 8, 2015, 7:30pm. Featuring a 300-voice mass choir consisting of students from nine Manitoban high schools and the Winnipeg Youth Symphony Orchestra, the concert will showcase the exceptional musical talent of youth in the province… [and] four current and former University of Manitoba vocal students, Lynlee Wolstencroft (soprano), Jillian Bonner (alto), Aaron Hutton (tenor) and Paul Winkelmans (baritone), the promises to be a powerful performance.”
There in no doubt this evening will be a celebration, not only of Mozart’s final masterpiece, but also that of the young talent that exists in Manitoba. For more information and ticket inforation, click here.
